About North Tahoe Fan Club

Parents and music directors work together to create an enriched program that is creative, rigorous, and fun. The North Tahoe FAN Club raises money for items that enhance the program and allow each student to develop their skill and confidence in individual and small and large group ensembles. This includes funding new sheet music, uniforms, instrument repair, festival fees, solo and ensemble fees, accompanists for student contests, audition fees for honor bands, some transportation, scholarships, and more.

History of FAN Club

The FAN Club is an organization with a 45 year history of providing financial and volunteer support for the music and band education programs at the North Tahoe High School and Middle School in Tahoe City. Our simple goal is to help keep music education alive and thriving for our curious and talented youth, their families and the larger community. These programs have long been a hallmark of the performing arts here at the lake. We have had the honor of witnessing multiple first place awards at festivals, thousands of dollars in scholarships given to our music program graduates and many NTHS graduates going on to be music teachers and professors inspiring a new generation of kids.
